So earlier this evening I was surfing the Internet, minding my own business, not looking at anything in particular when all of a sudden I get this pop-up message saying that my computer is infected with the Trojan virus. Now i have had an infected computer before so of course I want to be sure that everything is always running smoothly. Well needless to say...I downloaded the gosh-doggit software. It is called "personal antivirus". Let me tell you with a capital m...Mistake. A big one. After the software was running, it said I had 56 infected files! I was so proud of myself because I thought I was cleaning up the bad files when all along i was creating bad files. Anytime I would try to pull up link from a web page, I would get this red page saying it was blocked. I couldn't even view my own blog. Jeez! So i went to control panel thinking that I would just go an uninstall the software but of course that would have been WAY to easy. So I looked and looked for a solution and finally after 2 mix drinks and a grilled cheese sandwich later, I found one. Yay for me! All I had to do was restore my computer thru the start menu. Talk about a weight lifted off my shoulders. I was already trying to come up with a "story" on how I was gonna tell Mr.Joe how this crazy computer had a virus. So if you ever get a pop up with "personal antivirus" at the top....DO NOT install it.
